I am happy to say that our Pointed Exotic live all over the world now and earn their Ch points at many wonderful CFA shows. I would like to thank all my new friends, breeders that love, take very good care, and show "Bellakitty" cats.

Many people ask what is an Exotic shorthair? What is the difference between Exotics and Persians? I will say that in most cases there is no difference. Exotics are just as sweet and loving, just as playful and devoted to their owners. We don't consider Exotics to be the lazy men Persian, they are a perfect cat for very responsible, but busy people that don't have much time to spend on grooming their cats. For many people, short fluffy coat of an Exotic is a big advantage to long luscious coat of a Persian. All though I must say that Exotics, short as well as long hair, very much enjoy being brushed and bathed, just as long as their can spend as much time as possible with the owner. I find Exotics to be very much human loving cats.

Exotics have a forever kitten personality. I have quite a few adult Exotics that go wild when I take out a feather wand. Imagine 10 kittens and just as many adults jumping all over the room to catch a fur mouse or a ball.

I find that personality of an Exotic does not change from male to female. I find them to be equally sweet, loving and affectionate to humans as well as other cats. I have a large grooming table in the cat room and every day when I come in and sit next to the table most of my Exotics come over to cuddle next to me. Sometimes I wish I had more then 2 hands in order to give the same attention to all of them at the same time. However my Exotics do not nag for attention and if I am busy grooming or playing with one cat, the rest will just be happy rubbing against my hand or licking it or just lay down at my feet and purr.
